Aim and Product
EQM-PD defines in cooperation with relevant partners (research, financing bodies, services and persones with disability) quality criteria for five basic modules. These modules reflect key processes within the fields a) education, living, work, leisure-time and counselling concerning persons with disability. Main target group for the curriculum (in terms of further educational programs) are professionals who ware directly working with persons with disabilities. The definition of QM-criteria and the creation of an evaluation instrument (online-questionnaire) is an important instrument for the self-assessment of the institution including participative processes of persons with disabilities themselves.
Process
The partners analyse and define quality criteria for the different relevant areas (education, living, work, leisure-time, counselling). Furthermore “participation of the clients, communication with the clients (in terms of theoretical approches) and dissemination” are acompagning modules. The result of the project will be 1. Online questionnaire assessing the quality of key-processes within the work with persons with disabilities. This questionnaire will be available both – for the professionals and for the clients 2. Curriculum for further education for the professionals Persons with disabilities are able to use this instrument to support quality discussion and change processes. The curriculum closes the educational-gap between the operative and middle management. Professionals who are directly working with the clients – based on the instrument and the curriculum – become Q-managers of their own work, supported by the needs and assessments of the clients. A curriculum for further education “EQM-PD” will be availabe, the instrument will serve as a basis for pilot assessment and certification processes. There will be a pilot run for each module, the online questionaire will available in different European languages, both for the professionals and the clients.

Das Projekt wird im Rahmen der Leonardo da Vinci Programme durchgeführt
EQM-PD definiert in Kooperation mit relevanten Partnern (Forschung, Kostenträgern, Dienstleistern und Personen mit Behinderung) Qualitätskriterien für fünf Ausbildungsmodule. Diese Module reflektieren Schlüsselprozesse betreffend Menschen mit Behinderungen in den Bereichen Ausbildung, Wohnen, Freizeit, Arbeit und Beratung. Hauptzielgruppe für das Aus/Fortbildungscurriculum (in Anlehnung an Weiterbildungsprogrammen) sind MitarbeiterInnen von Institutionen, die direkt mit Menschen mit Behinderungen arbeiten. Die Definition von QM-Kriterien und die Erstellung eines Evaluationsinstruments (Online-Fragebogen) sind wichtige Erhebungsinstrumente für die Institution selbst und beinhalten die Möglichkeit der Teilnahme der Menschen mit Behinderung am Evaluierungsprozess.
Prozess
Die Partner analysieren und definieren Qualitätskriterien für die verschiedenen relevanten Bereiche (Ausbildung, Wohnen, Arbeit, Freizeit, Beratung). Außerdem sind die “Partizipation der KlientInnen, „Kommunikation mit den KlientInnen“ (in Anlehnung an theoretische Ansätze) und “Dissemination” begleitende Module. Das Ergebnisse dieses Projektes sind:
1. Online-Fragebogen.
Dieser soll die Qualität der Schlüsselprozesse in der Arbeit mit Menschen mit Behinderung beurteilen. Dieser Fragebogen soll den MitarbeiterInnen und den KlientInnen zur Verfügung stehen.
2. Curriculum für die Aus/Weiterbildung der MitarbeiterInnen
Personen mit Behinderung sollen auch in der Lage sein, dieses Instrument zu verwenden, um die Diskussion um Qualitätsprozesse zu unterstützen und mitzuverändern. Das Curriculum schließt die Lücke zwischen operativem und mittlerem Management. MitarbeiterInnen, die direkt mit den Menschen mit Behinderung arbeiten, werden – basierend auf dem online Instrument und dem Curriculum - zu Qualitätsmanagern ihrer eigenen Arbeit und bekommen zusätzlich Unterstützung von ihren KlientInnen durch deren Partizipation bezüglich ihrer Bedürfnissen und Einschätzungen.
Ein Aus/Weiterbildungscurriculum “EQM-PD” wird zur Verfügung stehen und dieses Instrument wird als Basis für die Beurteilung des Pilotdurchlaufes und dem Evaluierungsprozess fungieren. Es wird einen Pilotdurchlauf für jedes Modul geben, der Onlinefragebogen wird in verschiedenen europäischen Sprachen zur Verfügung stehen und zwar für MitarbeiterInnen und KlientInnen.
