What factors have been supporting during your work in the project:
The project activities lead to the creation of two books : ?QA in YCC manual? and ?QA in YCC workbook?, a web site and a virtual quality assurance centre. The two books are available as in electronic so in paper format. This will enable the professionals to use the materials whenever they need them. The manual and the workbook are complementary with the manual providing mainly the theory standing behind the concept of Quality Assurance while the workbook provides practical information, examples and exercises. In this way the managers and consultats will have the opportunity to use the materials quite freely on their own without the need of other additional consultations.
The concept of Quality assurance in YCC presented in the project takes into consideration the specific features of the different types of stakeholders which, makes it possible to be used in a wide range of organizations and by different types of professionals. It can be used by both managers of youth career centres and career consultants working directly with clients.
The indicators that are used in the Quality Assurance process may be specific and measurable but at the same time they are objective and applicable in different contexts and time. The professionals will be able to use them not only in the present situation of the youth career counselling services but also in the future. The indicators do not set limits which are adequate to the situation the way it is in the moment of their creation but function like means to measure the progress and status of the services provided, which makes them usable in long time terms.
