Description:
The main objectives of the project are the following:
A) to develop an approach linked to the problems of disabled people: going beyond national and regional legislation, the main aim of each politic action to disadvantaged people and non is to improve their lifestyle both on an objective and individual level. An holistic approach to disability, that aims to the achievement of a job employment route could be carried out by analysis of the situation in which disabled people live pointing out social, health, and cultural aspects as well as some peculiarities of their familiar and social context. The objective is to outline important features of the person overcoming the `functional diagnosis` (ref. DPCM 13/01/2000);
B) to develop theoretical and practical working means direct to job integration of people with disabilities rather than to a specialized job placement: this is possible promoting the integration of handicapped people as a real resources of the business in order to obtain satisfying job placements for disabled people workers and employers as well as stable jobs, considering the skills of persons related to tasks offered by business through the analysis of individual abilities, both on a physical and mental level . The development of a methodology of analysis and job matching able to preventive costs related to job placement chances has been considered: social costs regarding the type of placement, costs of training (in classroom, on-job, fad, with tutor…), costs concerning adaptability and accessibility of workplace and re-organization of business workflow in order to optimise work and interpersonal relationships. At the present, since this type of anticipatory proposals do not exist yet, the projects related to job employment risk to be not managed on a financial level and/or if this risks are not present the above mentioned plans offer again the carrying out of non personalized actions.
C) to introduce an anticipatory plan concerning the problems of job placement of people with disabilities: training for job placement could be introduced during the person`s school attendance ( mandatory schools, secondary schools and universities); in this period persons point out problems linked to motivational aspects and disabilities considered important features for the access in the working world. From this point of view school represent a privileged observatory of people capabilities and behaviours. The introduction of routes favouring job opportunity during the person`s school attendance not only simplifies the achievement of specialized job placement but also steers the educational curriculum of person towards skills suitable to the future access in the world of work.
D) To promote proposals concerning self-management of person: acting on the cultural and training levels related to self-employment chances capable of realizing the individual`s vocational attitudes. The growing interest in these projects overcomes Italian Law 68/99, suggesting actions based on the motivational and entrepreneurial aspects of each persons. ICT (Information Communication Technology) sector is considered particularly favourable to self-employment, considering the low infra-structural and management costs generally implied by new technologies.
E) To project adjustment activities of people involved in the process regarding the carrying out of the job employment policies: re-qualification of people involved in the training procedures and tutorial activities, adjustment of training structures (access to training activities) personalization of educative methodology. We intend to project suitable actions in order to solve problems regarding training and structural lacks, making the results of the project stable and enjoyable by other partners (ref. point 5.21, horizontal mainstreaming). For these reasons the project can be considered like a laboratory, where each activity aims to an adjustment of the regional structures as far as the subject of employment people with disabilities is concerned.
F) To achieve some pilot activities in regards to handicapped people in order to validate the methodological instruments developed in the first phase of the project by actions showing the effectiveness of the so-called praxis in the implementation of National Law 68/99, involving bodies and organization external to the development partnership.
G) To realize horizontal and vertical mainstreaming of the project results both on methodological and practical level, considering, on a vertical scale, the involvement that these results have on the social regional policy in order to determine a regional welfare society. On a horizontal scale, methodological and practical results achieved by people involved in the job employment process for disables are fundamental: the provincial Centres and the municipal institutions for employment, the SAL organizations (Services of Accompaniment on the Job) and institutions promoting self-entrepreneurship will foresee the involvement of privileged participants in this mainstreaming process such as Social Cooperatives, Public and Private Centres for Employment.). chances;

Il progetto si colloca nell’ambito del programma comunitario Equal, che vede come ente referente la Regione Molise ed ha, fra le sue finalità, quella di contribuire alla sperimentazione ed allo sviluppo di metodologie di
inserimento lavorativo adeguato e duraturo per
le persone disabili.
ARTEMIS: Azione di Riqualificazione Territoriale per Metodologie di Integrazione Sociolavorativa dei disabili. Obiettivo del progetto è realizzare un`azione a forte contenuto innovativo per favorire l`occupabilità di persone con disabilità (congenita ed acquisita). Si muove dall`assunto che il problema della occupabilità dei disabili presenta specificità tali da rendere un intervento genericamente rivolto a tutti i soggetti svantaggiati relativamente efficace.
